This recording was of a group of perhaps 6 or 7 king parrots who hang out together all the time. They were of mixed sex, so both male and female voices can be heard in their soft chatter between mouthfuls of wild tobacco fruit (they are only interested in the tiny hard seeds). The group continued chatting and devouring seeds for hours, seemingly oblivious of me standing below them with the recording gear running (although, thinking about it now, it might in fact have been ME they were discussing!).
